I don't know if there was a milepost at the canal terminus at Pall Mall. There is no sign of one on the maps of the canal basin and there isn't one on the surviving canal warehouses. As part of the Eldonian Village regeneration a sign was put on the towpath showing 127 miles to Leeds. None of the original mileposts have been found in the first mile of the canal.
