Description:

At the top of the Johnsons Hillock flight next to the Top Lock from which it takes its name. The pub has one main room decorated with panels of roses and castles and photographs of canal scenes. There is a good range of beers at the bar including Black Sheep and timothy Taylor and some nice lagers too including Leffe on draught. The pub is popular for food with Sunday lunches for £7 and Indian food on a specials board. The staff are friendly and the pub is welcoming. There is poker on Wednesdays.
